How we can help

We take care of each stage, from choosing the structure to registration and opening a bank account.

Choosing the structure

SRL, branch or representative office of a foreign company: we explain the differences in liability, management and reporting and help you choose.

Founding documents

We draft the articles of association, founders' decisions and other documents in Romanian, with an English translation for your review.

Apostilles and translations

We tell you which foreign documents need an apostille or legalisation and coordinate certified translations into Romanian.

Filing with the Public Services Agency

We file the documents with the Public Services Agency (ASP), follow the registration and collect the registration documents on your behalf.

Bank account support

We help prepare the documents banks request when opening a company account, including information on beneficial owners. The final decision rests with the bank.

Remote setup by power of attorney

You can sign a power of attorney in your country. We explain how it must be certified and translated so that we can act for you in Moldova.

Frequently asked questions

Can a foreign citizen or company be the sole owner of a Moldovan SRL?
Yes. A foreign individual or a foreign company can be the sole founder of a Moldovan SRL, and the director can also be a foreign citizen. We check whether any special rules apply to your planned activity and, if the director intends to live in Moldova, we also advise on residence rights.
What documents do I need to set up a company?
Usually: passports of the founders and the director, information on the beneficial owners, a document confirming the registered office address in Moldova, and details of the share capital and planned activities. If a founder is a company, its registration documents are needed as well. We tell you which documents need an apostille and a translation.
How long does company registration take?
It depends mainly on how quickly the foreign documents are apostilled and translated and on the bank's checks. State registration itself is usually quick once the file is complete. After reviewing your situation, we give you a realistic timeline.
How much does your assistance cost?
Our fee depends on the structure, the number of founders and the documents involved. We set it after the initial assessment and agree it in writing before we start. State fees and notary or translation costs, where applicable, are separate, and we tell you about them in advance.
Do I need to travel to Moldova?
In many cases, no. Registration can be handled by our attorney on the basis of a power of attorney signed in your country and certified as required. Some banks may ask the director or beneficial owner to complete identification in person or by video; we tell you in advance what to expect. Consultations are online or at our Chișinău office, in English, Romanian or Russian.
Can you help after the company is registered?
Yes. We assist with later changes, such as a new director, a new address, new shareholders or a share transfer, with contracts and other legal matters of the company in Moldova and, where the activity is eligible, with an application to Moldova IT Park.
