What investors ask us

Short answers to the questions we hear most often. Your case may differ; we confirm what applies at the first assessment.

Do I need to travel to Moldova to set up a company?

Often not. Many steps can be completed through a representative acting under a power of attorney, notarised and apostilled or legalised in your country.

Can a foreign individual or company be the sole shareholder?

In many cases, yes. Sector-specific rules and investment screening may apply, so we check your project before you start.

Does my investment need state-security screening?

Investments in certain sectors of importance for state security require prior examination. We check whether your project falls within scope and prepare the application if it does.

Can I open a bank account remotely?

Practice differs between banks. We prepare the KYC file, tell you which bank requirements apply and whether an in-person visit is needed.

Who can become a Moldova IT Park resident?

Companies whose main activities are on the park's list of eligible IT activities and that meet its conditions. We check eligibility before the company is set up.

How are fees set?

After the first assessment, based on the scope of work. The fee is set out in a written agreement before we begin. State fees, translations and notary costs are paid separately.

Free of charge
